Plymouth Port offers two ferry routes, to Roscoff in France and Santander in Spain. Both of these are operated by Brittany Ferries.

Plymouth to Roscoff

Brittany Ferries operates the route to Roscoff, France, which leaves up to three times per day. This is a seasonal route running from mid-March until mid-November. Travel time to Roscoff during the day is about 6 hours.


Overnight trips take 8 hours. At the port in Roscoff facilities include a gift shop, restaurant and bar, baby changing room, shower facilities, a bureau de change, a tourist information desk and a car park.

Plymouth to Santander

Brittany Ferries also operates the route to Santander, Spain. The ferry crosses twice weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the year. The trip takes approximately 20 hours, 30 minutes. Santander is both a regional capital and a busy holiday destination. The port in Santander provides coin and phonecard operated telephones, a tourist information desk, a cafeteria, a Hertz car hire office and car parks nearby.
